Last summer we received a call from a busy mom who wanted to throw an over-the-top party for her princess-loving daughter’s 4th birthday. We jumped at the chance to let our event imaginations run wild and make all their princess dreams come true!
The family’s newly renovated, uber-modern home welcomed guests as they arrived to the interactive princess experience. They were greeted by Moana and gifted orchid leis fresh from Hawaii. We worked with AD Event Group to create the custom vinyl decals for the chairs and striped wrap for the candy cart provided by Element.
There were princesses at every turn, provided by When You Wish Entertainment. On the agenda was dress up with Elsa & Anna, followed by story time and crowd favorite – sing alongs! Belle mingled with guests and Mary Poppins surprised everyone with afternoon tea, complete with an etiquette lesson. Even the adults joined in on the fun, sipping delicious pineapple-hatch margaritas and taking advantage of family hula lessons with Moana on the terrace.
Private chef and owner of Gilded Artichoke Catering Company, Lisa Boudreaux LeCoq, went above and beyond for the fête, preparing fresh seared sea scallops to order for guests in the family’s chef’s kitchen. We even spotted her making custom PB&J sandwiches with the crusts cut off for the pickiest of eaters.
No princess party would be complete without a carefully curated dessert experience and over-the-top castle cake. Sugar Coated by Michelle created the castle art, as well as the various mini cakes for guests to take home as favors. Each mini-cake represented one of the birthday girl’s favorite princess movies. Customized macarons from Les Amis Bake Shoppe and cookies from Misty Cookie Culture were also on the menu. Batch Baking Company provided vegan cupcakes for the birthday girl.
